Each cub scout den is led by parents serving as Den Leaders or Assistant Den Leaders. The goal of den meetings is to collaborate with other parents in order carry out the year-round program of activities in order to learn the skills taught by the cub scout program. The rank for the grade level is bestowed at the conclusion of the school year in a June ceremony after cub scouts meet all the achievement criteria.
